Isolate stains
Where an inactive ceiling stain is suitable for coating, use the documented stain-blocking primer approach before finish paint.
Inspect under light
Review the prepared surface for ridges, pinholes, open gaps, and visible transitions before the painting sequence begins.
Define the repairs before the room is painted
The estimate identifies the visible imperfections and preparation included with the painting work.

Will patched areas be sanded before paint?
Yes. Honeybear's published interior process follows patching with sanding to create a smoother transition before coating.
Can you fix cracks and seams?
Selected cracks and seams are part of the documented preparation process. Repeated movement, moisture, or structural causes should be addressed before a cosmetic repair is treated as final.
Do you caulk around baseboards and trim?
Honeybear’s process caulks baseboards and door or window trim where needed and putties finish-nail holes before painting.
Can you cover a ceiling water stain?
Honeybear documents sealing qualifying ceiling stains with oil-based KILZ before paint. Any active leak or moisture source should be corrected first.
Does Honeybear remove wallpaper?
Wallpaper removal is listed on the current service hub. Because paper, adhesive, and the wall beneath vary, removal and follow-up repair should be separately scoped.
